Schedule Specialist/ CNA-hospice

The Schedule Specialist in Hospice receives referrals from Central Intake and assigns patient care visits utilizing the operating system, in coordination with Team Leader, and consistent with the qualifications of professional and para-professional staff. Under the supervision of Hospice nurses, the Hospice aide provides direct patient care and services as established in the patient's Plan of Care. The Hospice Aide must be compassionate, mature and able to handle the needs of a Hospice patient and their family. This employee must also have access to a dependable vehicle and be willing to travel to see patients.Additional Details

QualificationsExperience Requirements
Minimum one year of scheduling experience in health care setting using an online scheduling system
Skill Requirements
Exceptional organizational, customer service, communication, and decision making skills required
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding provision of hospice services including initial assessment visits, recertification visits, supervisory visits and discipline specific visits.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
